Courbette made succesfully an ability test in water rescuing and with that she made the history of Tallivahdin! VERY WELL DONE CILLA AND MARJA!

Water rescuing sport has become rather popular here in south west Finland and it is difficult to get a place in a training group. Last summer Marja and Cilla succeeded in that and now we can see the result of their good work. Now they are ready to start to compete in beginner class and after that comes open class and the highest class is winner class. Water rescuing is developed for landseers and newfoundlanders and its roots are in the beginning of 1900 century in England. To Finland it game 1989 and it has been an official dog sport in Finland since 1992 and in year 2011 there were already 71 tests. When the dog has 3 times over 90% of points in winner class it can get a title of Finnish water rescuing champion.

I have been thinking for years now that hovawart is a good dog also for this dog sport and now we have a nice example of our own - Cilla and Marja! I am so happy for your success!
