Repe was BOB in MyDog Show in Göteborg Sweden and won the title of Swedish Champion and is now waiting for his C.I.B title to be official!!! SUUPEEER REPE!

SUPERHAPPY greetings from Göteborg MyDog INT Shows!

We have really a little serie of happy days now: Tallivahdin new year started as happily as the old year ended with champion celebrations! Our golden hovi Repe started his international show career with BOB and he won also the title of Swedish Champion and his foreign Cacib needed for the super title of C.I.B! So now we can apply that title from FCI and that is going to be very exciting also...

Dog shows as a hobby is not so popular in Sweden than in Finland and so there was just 11 hovis on Saturday on the 5th of January and 13 on Sunday. This Swedish CAC rules in hovawarts is very good for dual-purpose-breeding. There hovawart can get a CAC only if it has a result in working-dog tests. And because of that tehre were several working-dog hovis in both sexes in both days. And I believe this has come to that in Sweden it is quite common that hovawart is working as an official working-dog in army and in border guardian duties. Some of the bitches of the show were official working dogs. I had a really nice time with Swedish hovi fans in both days and I WARMLY THANK THEM HERE FOR THEIR VERY GOOD TEAM SPIRIT I COULD ALSO TAKE PART IN!  SPECIAL THANK YOU TO PATRICIA JOHANSSON, WHO SEND ME THESE LOVELY PHOTOS! Below the text are two photos of Repe. More photos and exact results can be seen in Patricia´s homepage:

Repe was on Saturday Working Class EXC1 CQ Best male CAC CACIB Swedish Champion and BOB.BOB Repe, judge Robert Dawson and BOS C.I.B Korad SE UCH TJH(FM) Hässlehoffs Aya-Keadotter foto: Patricia Johansson The judge was Philippine Robert Dawson who is on photo. BOS was  C.I.B Korad SE UCH TJH(FM) Hässlehoffs Aya-Keadotter (on photo) and she made it even better on Sunday and became BOB. On Sunday the judge was Check Polgar Andras, who placed Repe as the second best male Champion Class EXC1 CQ the 2nd best male resCACIB. That was ok with us because we drove up to  Kapellskär harbour to wait for our boat and the driving was about 550 kms.

To get official C.I.B title can be as interesting and exciting than this Finnish Champion title because FCI has just changed their rules at the end of November 2012. New rules says that a working result for C.I.B title should be either IPO1, IPO-FH or IPOR. I contacted as soon as I noticed this change of rules Finnish Kennel Club and Finnish Working-Dog Club cause I was worried about the future of our own national working-dog tests. The connect person in this matter in Finnish Kennel Club wrote to me after Xmas that she believes now that the old rules and Finnish working-dog tests can also be accepted but this matter is not clear yet. So I wait and see if FCI gives Repe C.I.B title with his FH1 result.... It will take about half a year to get the official answer form FCI so waiting time shall ne rather long.

Our trip to Sweden was quite ex tempore, because we were hoping our H-litter to be born in the first days of this year. Bus as soon as Laku was noticed to be empty in ultra I send Repe´s entry to MyDog shows for 5.1. and 6.1.2013. I had noticed MyDog already one year ago when I begun to think about where to take Repe to start his international show career. And this was a very successfull trip! Our main aims in dog shows this year became true already so soon!

Now we just wait for the snow to smelt and tracking season to begin! Before that we must cross country ski so much that we are all ready for IPO-FH tests in May... That result is one of the main working-dog aims for this new year ;-)

Have a good continueing for this year and nice time with your hovis! YOURS Minna and Golden Repe
