Tallivahdin Freiberufler "Repe" 2 years and 3 months made FH1 and is now the youngest Finnish FH-hovi! His mother Tallivahdin Cremefarben "Sissi" made FH2 with nice 89 points! OH, MY LOVELY GOLDEN HOVIS!

THIS IS THE DAY I AM NOT GOING TO EVER FORGET  :D

As a true optimistic person I had decided to take the same FH-test with both of my dogs Repe and Sissi. This time risk taking was very successful! The FH-test was the first one in a working-dog club called Forssan Palveluskoirat about 100 km´s from Masku. The judge was Vesa-Pekka Hirvioja. There were two Tallivahdin bitch owner Sarri and Satu that made the tracks with one mudi owner Maija. Sarri was the only one that had competed in FH and made test tracks before. Other women had their first test tracks - but they all successed extremly fine: 4/6 dogs made result!!! Thank you very much Sarri, Satu and Maija!!!
Weather was typical this time of year about +5 C, raining and winding. But that did not bother our great hovis!! There were totaly 3 hovis in the test that got the tracks 1-3... then the exciting day begun.

In the first track very famous Finnish hovawart male Nerihoff´s Arcobaleno, called Peto (=the Beast) and his owner Niina made good FH2 result 80 points. So the day begun with a result! The judge talked while we were waiting for the next start that he had been judging two FH-test this season before but this is the first result in all of these. So this was a nice thing for us to remember how difficult dog-sport this is. Because this day was so good with results that we could have forgotten this truth easily...

The other to strat was Repe and me. Repe, 2 years and 3 months, Tallivahdin Freiberufler, is my own golden boy.
He is a very powerful tracker with excellent drive. That caused some problems towards the wind where he hold his nose a little bit too high. First corner was difficult but after that he went like a train.Other corners were very sure and fast and those two objects he took were very good and excellent. He usually lies down or rather throws himself down woth straigth legs... but today he went over the second object and then stopped bu standing. I guessed he had found the object because he looked at me like " can you take it?". The 2nd object was not under his feed so we just continued.   I was afraid of the crossing tracks because he is young and still very curious and he hava had problems with them earlier this summer. But luckily not any more. He just turned his head a little and marked them. 1 class tracks ended in other surface bare mud about 50 meters. Repe got the smell of the lst object about 20 meters before it and that made him surching around and around. We finished the tracks but he did not find the last object... So he missed 12 points of objects but still made the result  74 points ans FH1.
That was absolutely one of my most exciting tracks and also the fastest one... Repe is sooooo different form my FH-hovi-bitches. He has over 70% of working-dogs in his pedigree and you really can see it with his working power and clear targetting.  Famous Finnish FH- and IPO-competitor and now also a judge Outi Hermiö told about Repe that "he hits on the track" and that is very true. And he never gets tired. Now his wonderfull potential showed also with a result in his early age. Now it is soooo nice to continue to the next season. Repe has shown to be a real diamond since he was a puppy. Now it is my turn to polish him to his best shine! So the pressure is on the the other end of the tracking line...  :D

Well, the next hovi and the third track was Repe´s mother my own Super-Sissi 6 years 4 months, Tallivahdin Cremefarben in FH2 class. Sissi has two FH2results already, but after our unsuccessful hovi-championship games we had just trained tracking... Now our work made good result. Sissi got 89 points. Unfortunately she missed one object and our first over 90 points result... That would have made our first out of 3 over 90 points results needed for the title of Finnish Working dog champion... Otherwise this day was just PERFECT!!!

I do not know if I am the first person in Finland that has made two results in the same test with two dogs? But among hovi people I am the first one that has made 2 results in the same test. FH2 BH Tallivahdin Englein got her FH1 result at the age of 2 years and 5 months two years ago. According to some statistics she was then the seventh youngest of all working-dogs in Finland that had made FH1. After that Finnish FH-guru Vesa Kuosmanen with his German Shephard Musketeer´s Hari has made FH1 younger but perhaps no one else. So Repe could now be the eight youngest FH-dog in Finnish working-dog history.  This is also one nice history to remember!

Have a nice father´s day and , KIPPIS (=TOAST) and there is still some good tracking season left...  :D
