Eminent started her working-dog career with a nice result HK1 in human searching in Finnish Hovawart Club Championship games in Merikarvia! CONGRATULATIONS HULDA AND MAARIT!

Our weekend had a wonderful spirit of working-dog sport from Friday to Sunday! We were in Finnish Hovawart Club working-dog champion games in west coast Merkikarvia. This year we made our record with three Tallivahdin hovis competing there: Cremefarben in highest tracking class PAJÄ3, Eminent in beginner human surching class PAHA1 and Englein in beginner tracking class PAJÄ1. Altogether there were 26 hovawarts competing in different classes. At the same time we spent a nice kennel holiday in a fine camping are of Mericamping in a nice cottage that had everything including a fine sauna! And we all had so much fun! In the spirit of Club's working-dog championships we enjoying our young dogs   Forscherin, Freiberufler, Genie and Gewinnerin.

There were 6 PAJÄ3 dogs this year competing and we began with obedience. Sissi and I was in first couple that has been the greatest working-hovi in Finland for years now: Nerihoffś Arcobaleno "Peto" that won bronze medal in open Finnish Championship games in tracking! He is the third hovawart that has ever won a medal in working-dog Finnish Championship games. So I was in good companionship already early in the morning... Peto and Niina got to start and Sissi and I went on laying on place. Just before Peto and Niina got to their jumping part a little and very loud dog run to Sissi and stopped just 3 meters from her and barked very aggressively. Sissi has good nerves and she did not move from her place and the organizers got the little dominant dog away. We got max 10 points from that part even the disturbance was also max for a hovi and Sissi became famous for her coolness! Peto and Niina got again nice&normal points for them 84/100 and Sissi and I also got normal points for us 78/100 that included two part that had points under 7... So our day started fine. We two weew only ones out of 6 PAJÄ3 class dogs that got enough over 70 points for result - so excitement got higher! Peto and Niina were Club tracking champions in 2010 and Sissi and I last year 2011... Unfortunately we both failed in object surching in 50x50 m area and also in tracking part. There Sissi and I got 3/6 wooden sticks in forest (109/170 points) and Peto and Niina just 2 sticks, but that was not enough we should both have found all 6 sticks in this1,5 km long track in forest in order to get result. So this year the champion title went to a young beginner class PAJÄ1 dog. But we will try to come back next year...

FH2 BH Tallivahdin Englein "Mango" tried this time this other tracking wiht her owner Mili. But Mango was too wild already in the mornign in tracking that all six sticks remained in forest... She got even wilder in obedience part and in jumps she just run at the end of the court with a wooden object in her mouth. There were some plastic object there and she thought that Mili had left her food waiting or her there... So they have some Haltung to practice during the winter - tail up and good training sessions for Mango and MIli!

The star of Tallivahdin was Eminent "Hulda" and her owner Maarit, that got their both first working-dog scholarship HK1 in human searching! In forest in this surching part they got almost max points 162/170 and all three men in forest were found. Their object searching in 50x50 m area went also without any success but they ahd already enough points in orer to get result. It waas just the obedience that should be over 70 poinst... And it got very exciting because they were the last ones of all competitors to do their Haltung part.  Following and sitting part went excellently! Seuraaminen ja liikkeestä istuminen olivat peräti erinomaiset ja useampi muukin liike erittäin hyvää! Couple of biegger mistakes made their final points 73 that was good enough for the accectable result. Totaly 235/300 and HK1! They won the PAHA1 class and were the other searchers that got result. The human searching champion became Tunturikuuran Merlin "Rosca" in highest class PAHA3, and his mother is JK1 Tallivahdin Augenweide! So relatives can also be very hapy for the success of Rosca and Jari! Congratulations to them and to the breeder of Tunturikuuran Mirja! But most of all very many CONGRATULATIONS TO GREAT HULDA AND MAARIT! VERY GOOD BEGINNING OF YOUR WORKING-DOG CAREER!

WE HAD A HIGH SPIRIT IN OUR COTTAGE ALL NIGHT LONG WITH CHAMPAGNE AND GOOF FOOD THAT SAANA AND SATU HAD MADE FOR US ALL! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
